WITH THE BEATLES: THE BEATLES

Here is a sophomore release bursting with hints that this group was evolving in its songwriting and musical dexterity. This album, still early in the band's history, even contains George Harrison's first composition ("Don't Bother Me") recorded by The Beatles. As was the case with the Fab Four's debut LP, there is a mix of covers and original material on 'With The Beatles'. The group serve fab covers such as the Motown songs: "You Really Got A Hold On Me", "Please Mr Postman" and "Money"; as well as remakes of "Devil In Her Heart" and "Till There Was You". The new songs from the pens of John Lennon & Paul McCartney reveal an undeniable growth on tracks such as "All My Loving", "Not A Second Time" and "It Won't Be Long". With this album, the group was clearly poised for a global musical invasion like no other. Highlight
