After reinventing himself in the role of The Phantom of the Opera, Michael Crawford released an album of classic songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber stage musicals. He wisely revisits the obligatory "Phantom" numbers and an assortment of songs that are suited to a male performer. His years of experience as a singer and actor add a dimension to the songs that often require the skill set a veteran such as Crawford obviously possesses in abundance. His rendition of "Gethsemane" is spine-tingling while he can be terrifying singing the title song from "Phantom of the Opera".
