As countries begin selecting their entries for the Eurovision Song Contest in May, this blog will look back on the stats and the best from each of the 43 participating nations.

Lithuania's 1st ESC appearance was in 1994. To date, its best result was with "We Are The Winners" in 2006, which finished in 6th place for LT United. 

Donny Montell represented Lithuania in Stockholm last year. This was his 2nd attempt at Eurovision. His first, with "Love Is Blind" in the 2012 Grand Final, finished in 14th place. His 2016 song was the energetic "I've Been Waiting For This Night". Montell competed in the Grand Final and ended up ranked #9.

The 18th Lithuanian entry and its performer will be announced on March 11.
