DESTINY’S CHILD
The group was splintering around the time of this release. LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett were suddenly out, to be replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. The latter did not last long and the group was trimmed down to a trio, completed by Beyoncé Knowles and her cousin Kelly Rowland. Despite all of this turmoil, the single became the most successful Destiny’s Child hit thus far: topping the Pop and R&B charts in America and also hitting #1 in Australia. The single was a Top 5 smash in the UK and Canada in 2000.
