Ben E. King co-wrote his hit "Stand By Me" with producers Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The chart peaks listed above refer to the original chart run in 1961 and the single's return in 1986-7. It re-entered the chart because of its use in the 1986 film 'Stand By Me' which starred River Phoenix and Kiefer Sutherland.
