<<<THE T⏳ME CAPSULE<<<
ALL I EVER NEED IS YOU
Sonny & Cher
1971
U.K. - #8; U.S.A. - #7
Trivia:
"All I Ever Need Is You" was written by Jimmy Holiday and Eddie Reeves. The latter first offered the song to Kenny Rogers, who rejected it. Ray Charles ended up recording the tune. Sonny & Cher's producer Snuff Garrett heard Uncle Ray's version and presented it to the duo. Ironically, Rogers did finally cut the song, as a duet with Dottie West 8 years later. Their cover topped the US Country Chart.
