THE 2023 EUROVISION SONGS RANKED IN ORDER. This post: #25-21.
Continues next weekend.
EUROVISION 2023
THE 37 SONGS
(in order of preference)
The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 37 with the absence of Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro. This year, the ESC will be held in host city Liverpool, England in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.
*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

#25
WHAT THEY SAY
Victor Vernicos
Greece
Of all Greek entries, this is one of its least Hellenic-sounding songs. Despite its empowering message, “What They Say” is forgettable. Perhaps the stage presentation will bolster its impact during Semi-Final 2 and help it qualify for the Grand Final. The song will be performed in English.
#24
HEART OF STEEL
TVORCHI
Ukraine
Last year’s Contest sent a message of protest to the Russians by many of last year’s participating nations. Ukraine won. The reigning champions still feature prominently among the favourites for 2023 and has pre-qualified for the Grand Final. This entry is different to last year’s song and is more accessible, especially as it will be sung in English and Ukrainian. It should perform well.
#23
SOARELE sI LUNA
Pasha Parfeni
Moldova
Pasha Parfeni makes his return to the Eurovision Song Contest with a song performed in Romanian. “Soarele Si Luna” means The Sun and the Moon. This entry is not as catchy as “Lautar” was, and may struggle in the hotly-contested first Semi-Final.
#22
STAY
Monika Linkyte
Lithuania
Lithuania has yet to win at Eurovision. The country will have to wait for at least another year. “Stay” has enough power to qualify for the Grand Final, but may be overshadowed by other contenders during Semi-Final 2.
#21
CARPE DIEM
Joker Out
Slovenia
Slovenia’s entry is catchy and should stand out as a worthy contender during Semi-Final 2. The song will be performed in Slovene.
