Trivia:

"Feels Like The First Time" was Foreigner's debut single. It peaked at #4 on Billboard's Hot 100. "Cold As Ice" was chosen as the follow-up single. It too made the US Top 10. The song was the first group member Mick Jones fleshed out on a piano. "Cold As Ice" was co-written with his bandmate Lou Gramm. The fact that it was -20 degrees in New York while they were creating the hit may have influenced the song title and mood.
