Since it began back in 1956, there have been 64 winning
entries in the Eurovision Song Contest. Some have remained timeless and popular
classics, while others, in hindsight, may defy logic. Caffè Lattè lists ten entries

SPAIN 1968
As far as nonsensical song titles go, “La,
La, La” deserves the ESC crown. The Spanish entry includes no less than 138 “las”.
Sure, it is catchy, but the chorus is the laziest ever. To make matters even
worse, Massiel’s win prevented Cliff Richard’s superior UK entry “Congratulations”
from its deserved place among Eurovision victors. He missed out by just one point.
