Scottish DJ/ producer Calvin Harris teamed up with Canadian musician The Weeknd for a collaboration entitled “Over Now”.

The Mamas
Sweden selected “Move” to represent the country at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Sadly, The Mamas will never know how well the song would have fared as the ESC was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will, however, compete again for the opportunity in 2021.

Tame Impala
Australian group Tame Impala dropped a new album during 2020. “Lost In Yesterday” was featured on ‘The Slow Rush’.

THINK ABOUT THINGS
Dadi Freyr
We will never know for certain, but “Think About Things” by Dadi Freyr might have given Iceland its first ever Eurovision victory in 2020. Freyr will be representing his country in the 2021 ESC, to be held in Rotterdam.

British singer/ songwriter Tom Aspaul issued his debut album ‘Black Country Disco’ during 2020 on which “Close To Me” is a standout track.

Lizzo
Although initially released in 2017, “Truth Hurts” eventually became a chart hit in 2019-20. The song reached #1 in America.

Welsh musician Bright Light Bright Light is based in New York City. His ‘Fun City’ contained this lead single: “I Used To Be Cool”.
