I AM A ROCK

Originally, “I Am A Rock” was the opening track on the “Paul Simon Song Book’ LP. It was a solo recording that was issued as his solo debut single in 1965. The powerful song was re-recorded by Simon with Garfunkel for the duo’s ‘Sounds Of Silence’ album. This new version peaked at #3 in America and #17 in the UK in 1966. The single also made the Top 20 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
