The original studio recording of "I Want You To Want Me" flopped,only denting the Canadian Pop Chart (at #97) in 1977. A live re-recording was issued 2 years later, capturing Cheap Trick in concert at the Budokan in Tokyo. This version finally gave the group its first hit in America and Britain.
