EUROVISION 2021
THE 39 SONGS
(in order of preference)
The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.
*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

SUGAR
Natalia Gordienko
Moldova
After missing out due to COVID-19 last year, Natalia Gordienko is back with “Sugar”. It is satisfactory, but will need an energetic stage presentation to make the song more memorable. Moldova has yet to win at Eurovision. The song will be performed in English in Semi-Final 2, which should make qualifying for the Grand Final easier. Nevertheless, it will not give Moldova its first ESC victory in 2021.
