Eddie Holland's "Jamie" was an early release for the fledgling Motown label. It peaked at #6 on Billboard's Soul Chart. Holland was to make history with his brother Brian and Lamont Dozier as songwriter/ producers of countless hits recorded by The Supremes, Four Tops and many more on the same label.
