THE 39 SONGS:

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song. *Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

In recent years, Portugal has offered some interesting songs, as evidenced with the overall winner in 2017- a first for the country. Sadly, the standard has dropped with this bland entry. Performed in English, the song will be competing in Semi-Final 2 and is unlikely to progress to the Grand Final.
