EUROVISION 2021
THE 39 SONGS
(in order of preference)
The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.
*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

I DON’T FEEL HATE
Jendrik
Germany
As one of Eurovision’s ‘Big 5’ countries, Germany has pre-qualified for the Grand Final. Jendrik will be singing “I Don’t Feel Hate” with his ukulele in English. The song has a positive message but is nothing new and will struggle to finish near the Top 10. As far as 2021 goes, Germany will need to wait another year for its third ESC victory. It competed in the inaugural Eurovision and has only missed one Contest (in 1996), making this year’s song the 65th German entry.
