#1031 FOUR SEASONS IN ONE DAY Crowded House
Crowded House was formed by Neil Finn, a former member of Split Enz. His brother, Tim, had been in the latter's original line-up. In 1989, the brothers planned to release an album as a side project to Neil's involvement with Crowded House. The product of that collaboration would instead turn up as the bulk of the material included on the group's next album, 'Woodface'. Released in 1991, the LP showcased the brothers' song craft and the precision in their harmonies. "Four Seasons in One Day" was penned by the 2 brothers, but co-produced by Neil with Mitchell Froom. The title is said to refer to Melbourne's erratic weather. The group was often based in that Australian city. Tim became a member of Crowded House for a time, but left late 1991.
