#1034 REMEMBER THE TIME Michael Jackson
When Michael Jackson had to follow-up his 'Bad' LP, he decided against Quincy Jones- the producer who had steered his previous 3 hit albums- and explored new territory with Teddy Riley. The latter had formerly been a member of Guy and helped pioneer new jack swing in the late 80s. Riley had worked with Bobby Brown. He and Jackson wrote "Remember the Time" with Bernard Belle, who had already worked with the group Guy. The track was lifted off Jackson's 'Dangerous' album, which hit shelves in 1991.
