Scot Annie Lennox had already launched her solo career by the time "Love Song for a Vampire" was released. The Eurythmics split back in the early 1990s. Lennox released her first solo album, 'Diva' in 1992. The LP proved a success."Love Song from a Vampire" was recorded for the motion picture 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'. The ballad was penned by Lennox and produced by Stephen Lipson. The latter has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Will Young and Simple Minds. Lennox and Stewart re-united as The Eurythmics in 1999.
