#406 VENGEANCE Carly Simon
On Carly Simon's 1979 album 'Spy', Arif Mardin took on production duties. The album's only hit is the track "Vengeance". Simon penned the song herself. Mardin assembled some of the best session players of the time for the recording: Richard Tee on clarinet; Steve Gadd on drums; Randy Brecker on trumpet; Michael Brecker on tenor sax and David Sanborn on alto sax. The track includes background vocals from Tim Curry. The single charted in the US, Australia and Canada.
