Shalamar took "The Second Time Around" all the way to #1 on the American Disco & R&B Charts in 1979-80. The upbeat song was written by producer Leon Sylvers with William Shelby.

#1680 I JUST WANNA STOP Gino Vannelli
Canadian singer Gino Vanelli scored a #1 in his home country as well as reaching #4 in the USA in 1978 with "I Just Wanna Stop", penned by his brother Ross. Both siblings co-produced the hit with 3rd brother Joe.
