A RANKING OF THE 41 SONGS FROM EUROVISION 2019.
This post: #17. Continues tomorrow.
EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2019
THE 41 SONGS
(ranked in order of preference)
The Eurovision Song Contest begins in
Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 and join
last year’s winning nation Israel alongside the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries
(France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days
later.
The songs are ranked in order of song
quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change
once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.
17 GREECE
BETTER LOVE
KATERINE
DUSKA
Performed in English, this song is tipped to attract the highest
score during Semi-Final 1. This is a well-crafted song, and if Duska can
deliver a mighty vocal, it will easily progress into the Grand Final. It is
emerging as a favourite, but I personally cannot see it prevailing over far superior
songs. Duska co-wrote the entry.
