Trivia: After Jimmy Somerville quit Bronski Beat, he emerged as a member of the duo The Communards with Richard Coles. "Don't Leave Me This Way" was a cover of a track previously recorded by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and, later, Thelma Houston. The British duo's remake featured guest vocals by Sarah Jane Morris.
