Trivia:

"Africa" is the closing track on Toto's 'IV' album. The group did not think much of the song at first. Keyboardist David Paich wrote the lyrics and composed the music with bandmate Jeff Porcaro. Despite the geographical inaccuracies in its verses, the single proved to be a major success, reaching the Top 10 in Canada, parts of Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
