Trivia:

The title track of the 'Rocky Mountain High' album was only the second Top 10 hit for John Denver on the American chart. In the UK, the singer / songwriter had to wait until 1974's "Annie's Song" to finally chart. It was worth the wait as that single reached #1 in Britain and in the U.S.A.
