Motown boasted an enviable roster of game-changing musical acts, many of which will be included on this Top 200. The label's 1st US #1 on the Pop Chart was "Please Mr Postman" by The Marvelettes. Formed in 1960, subsequent singles included the marvelous "Too Many Fish In The Sea", "Beechwood 4-5789", "The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game" and "Destination: Anywhere". As Motown's 1st girl group, The Marvelettes paved the way for Martha & The Vandellas, The Velvelettes and The Supremes.
