James Brown delivered one of soul's rawest love songs when he issued "It's A Man's Man's World" in 1966. His lyrics deal with man's achievements such as the invention of cars, money, toys and the electric light. Throughout the song he reflects that all of these innovations pale into insignifance without the existence of a woman.
