ALL THOSE YEARS AGO
George Harrison
1981
U.K. - #13; U.S.A. - #2
Trivia:
George Harrison initially planned to offer his composition "All Those Years Ago" to Ringo Starr. He ended up recording it himself for his 'Somewhere In England' album. Starr played drums on the track. Another former Beatle, Paul McCartney, contributed backup vocals. The 3 surviving bandmates performed on the song which was a tribute to the recently deceased ex-Beatle John Lennon.
