Trivia:

Giorgio Moroder composed the score for the film 'American Gigolo' which starred Richard Gere. The first singer approached to perform the song was Stevie Nicks. After the Fleetwood Mac member turned down the opportunity, Moroder asked Deborah Harry. She agreed to write the lyrics to "Call Me". Her group Blondie recorded the track. Co-writer Moroder also produced the hit.
