In July 2023, Taylor Swift dropped the third re-recorded version of her past albums. These discs are known as “Taylor’s Version”. As had been the case with the new re-recordings ‘Fearless’ and ‘Red’, ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ shot to #1. In America, the album spent 2 weeks at the top. This was her twelfth #1 album; a record for female artists.

Internationally, the new release proved to be just as popular. The re-recording reached number one in the UK, Canada, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Among its new tracks were collaborations with Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy. Some songs were billed as being ‘from the vault’, which was the case with the track “I Can See You”. The music video for this song features Taylor Lautner (best known for his role in the ‘Twilight’ movies).
