drew to an end, Donna Summer unleashed her duet with Barbra Streisand. “No
More Tears (Enough Is Enough)” brought together two of the biggest names on
the pop charts and raced to #1. This was followed by a compilation album that became Donna's third chart-topping LP (all double albums)- a feat she is still the only female artist to accomplish.

60 FAIRY TALE HIGH In Germany, “Fairy Tale High” was the second single lifted off ‘Once Upon A Time’.

59 TO TURN THE STONE Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte intended to use Donna’s recording of “To Turn The Stone” for her ‘I’m A Rainbow’. When the label refused to release it, the tracks remained in the vaults. The song was then recorded by Frida following the start of ABBA’s hiatus. Her version appears on ‘Something’s Going On’ which was issued in 1982.

58 DINNER WITH GERSHWIN Brenda Russell penned “Dinner With Gershwin”, a single lifted off ‘All Systems Go’. The disc peaked at #13 in America. Richard Perry produced the track.

57 SPRING AFFAIR The first single issued from ‘Four Seasons Of Love’ was “Spring Affair”.

56 LUSH LIFE Donna tackled the jazz standard “Lush Life”, penned by Billy Stayhorn, on her eponymous album. |
