Olivia Newton-John and ELO contributed the bulk of songs included on the 'Xanadu' motion picture soundtrack. "All Over The World" was the Electric Light Orchestra's follow-up to the group's collaboration with the lead actress on the film's title track. Along with ELO and Newton-John, the album featured songs by the female soloist with Cliff Richard, Gene Kelly and The Tubes.
