 “Love To Love You Baby” was released in America on Casablanca Records. Neil Bogart asked for a longer version of the song. Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte stretched it out over one side of her ‘Love To Love You Baby’ album. The song took off in the U.S.A. and worldwide. Donna Summer had arrived. She helped usher in the sounds of Euro-Disco. 

 

90 FASCINATION

After switching from Casablanca to Geffen Records in 1980, Donna dropped her final album for David Geffen’s label in 1987. “Fascination” features Harold Faltermeyer on keyboards.  


89 POWER OF LOVE

 Luther Vandross passed away in 2005. Various performers contributed to a tribute album entitled 'So Amazing'. “Power Of Love”, a song co-written by Vandross, was covered by Donna for this special disc. The track was released as a single in 2006.

 

88 THE ONLY ONE

On her 1989 album, ‘Another Place And Time’, every track was written by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman.  Donna contributed to the writing of three of its ten songs.

87 NIGHTLIFE

Donna’s 1980 album ‘The Wanderer’ included songs that involved combinations of regular collaborators Giorgio Moroder, Pete Bellotte, Harold Faltermeyer, Sylvester Levay. Keith Forsey and Donna. “Nightlife” was penned by Moroder and Bellotte.

86 PANDORA’S BOX

Far removed musically from the sensual disco classic that was the title track, “Pandora’s Box” was written by Pete Bellotte and Giorgio Moroder. The former produced the ‘Love To Love You Baby’ LP.
