Caffè Lattè presents… THE 100 ESSENTIAL SONGS BY DONNA SUMMER In 1979, Donna Summer’s recordings dominated the charts and radio airwaves. This was led by the rock/ disco fusion hit “Hot Stuff” which became her second US #1 single. It served as the lead single for her next album- another double- ‘Bad Girls’. The LP and title track both shot to the top in America.

65 COLD LOVE The second single from ‘The Wanderer’ was reminiscent of “Hot Stuff”. Donna applied her rock vocals to this song written by Pete Bellotte, Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey.

64 ON MY HONOR As well as its bevy of disco
hit singles. ‘Bad Girls’ further showcased Donna’s versatility. “On My Honor”
had hints of country. Donna co-wrote the lyrics with partner Bruce Sudano and
composed the music with Harold Faltermeyer. The song was the B-side for the "Bad Girls" hit single.

63 FASTER AND FASTER TO NOWHERE ‘Once Upon A Time’ was the first of 4 consecutive double albums issued by Donna. “Faster And Faster To Nowhere” was one of its tracks.

62 TO PARIS WITH LOVE Donna co-wrote this hit with Bruce Roberts. It reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play Chart.

61 TRUE LOVE SURVIVES Pete Bellotte co-wrote this track with Donna. It was cut for the ill-fated ‘I’m A Rainbow’ album.
