Caffè Lattè presents…

 THE 100 ESSENTIAL SONGS BY

DONNA SUMMER

In 1979, Donna Summer’s recordings dominated the charts and radio airwaves. This was led by the rock/ disco fusion hit “Hot Stuff” which became her second US #1 single. It served as the lead single for her next album- another double- ‘Bad Girls’. The LP and title track both shot to the top in America.

65 COLD LOVE

The second single from ‘The Wanderer’ was reminiscent of “Hot Stuff”. Donna applied her rock vocals to this song written by Pete Bellotte, Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey.

64 ON MY HONOR

As well as its bevy of disco hit singles. ‘Bad Girls’ further showcased Donna’s versatility. “On My Honor” had hints of country. Donna co-wrote the lyrics with partner Bruce Sudano and composed the music with Harold Faltermeyer. The song was the B-side for the "Bad Girls" hit single.
