C`affè Lattè presents… THE 100 ESSENTIAL SONGS BY DONNA SUMMER Donna Summer reunited with Giorgio Moroder in 1997 on the single “Carry On”, proving that they could still create dancefloor magic. By then, her shelved ‘I’m A Rainbow’ was finally out of the vaults. In 1999, her second live album ‘VH1 Presents Live & More Encore!’ was unleashed which contained new studio recordings (just as the first ‘Live And More’ LP had).

29 OH BILLY, PLEASE After Michael Omartian produced ‘She Works Hard For The Money’, he helmed the follow-up album ‘Cats Without Claws’. The LP contained the track “Oh Billy, Please”, which was written by Donna and her producer. |
28 I DON’T WANNA GET HURT “I Don’t Wanna Get Hurt” became the second UK Top 10 hit single lifted off the ‘Another Place And Time’ album. |
27 JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF YOUR HEART Not only did Donna explore various genres, she also took dance music into a myriad of pioneering directions. This was most evident on ‘Bad Girls’.
