Bernie Leadon quit the American band Eagles and was replaced by Joe Walsh in time for the classic 1976 album 'Hotel California'. This gave the group a harder rock edge as evidenced best on "Life In The Fast Lane". Walsh co-wrote the track with bandmates Don Henley and Glenn Frey.
