15 THEME FROM ‘THE DEEP’ (DEEP DOWN INSIDE)

Written by Donna with John Barry, “Deep Down Inside” was the sultry theme song from the 1977 film. The song peaked at #5 on the British chart.


14 HEAVEN KNOWS

 Donna recorded “Heaven Knows” with the group Brooklyn Dreams. Joe Esposito shared vocal duties. She later married another member- Bruce Sudano. The single peaked at #4 in America and topped Billboard’s Dance Chart.

 

13 LOVE IS IN CONTROL (FINGER ON THE TRIGGER)

Quincy Jones co-wrote “Love Is In Control (Finger On The Trigger)” with Rod Temperton and Merria Ross. The single made the UK Top 20 and reached #10 in America.

 

12 ON THE RADIO

Giorgio Moroder and Donna co-wrote “On The Radio”. The song was included on the 1980 ‘Foxes’ film soundtrack and also on her compilation ‘On The radio: Greatest Hits Volumes I & II’. In America, the single peaked at #6.


11 THE WANDERER

“The Wanderer” was the title track from Donna’s first album for Geffen Records. It was a change in musical direction for her and peaked at #3 in. America.
