When "I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" was issued in 1983, it was Nik Kershaw's debut single. The song stalled at #47. Follow-up "Wouldn't It Be Good" became a Top 10 smash. Its success led to the previous single being re-released the following year. The disc re-entered the British chart and remains his highest charting hit there.
