Harry Chapin's song "Taxi" recounts the story of cab driver Harry who picks up a passenger that he recognizes as an ex named Sue. The 1972 single spawned a spin-off chart hit in 1980. The story of Harry and Sue was revisited by Chapin on the #23 single entitled "Sequel".
