Tommy James & The Shondells' hit "I Think We're Alone Now" was covered by Tiffany who took her version to #1 in America. Incredibly, that remake was knocked out of the top position in 1987 by a Billy Idol single. His live rendition of "Mony Mony" was a cover of a 1968 chart smash by Tommy James & The Shondells!
