LATVIA
Latvia was the second former Soviet nation to win the Eurovision Song Contest. The nation claimed victory in 2002, two years after making its debut. Marie N performed the winning entry “I Wanna” in Tallinn, Estonia. As a result of the win, the Latvian city of Riga hosted the Contest in the following year.
