GREASE: MOVIE SOUNDTRACK

Already a Broadway smash by the time of the soundtrack's release, the film adaptation of the musical "Grease" has become a perennial favourite. The album was a massive success, as was the movie. For the film version, new songs were commissioned, including the #1 hits "Grease" and "You're The One That I Want". The oldies included here are no match for the tracks with higher profiles. John Travolta delivers "Sandy" with a nod to the 1950s. Stockard Channing is moving when she performs "There Are Worse Things I Could Do". Travolta and the boys revel on "Greased Lightnin'". This album is guaranteed to put a smile on your face, even if you don't dare admit to it. Highlight tracks: Summer Nights; Grease & You're The One That I Want.
