What You Need To Know About:
EUROVISION
2022
As if a pandemic wasn’t enough to plan around, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine looms large as Eurovision time approaches. At present, the Contest is scheduled to begin with Semi-Final 1 on May 10. Eurovision was not held for the first since its start in 1956 in 2020 because of COVID-19. How the threat of war may affect the ESC this year will be noteworthy. For now, Ukraine is competing and is a strong favourite to win.
Where is it being held?
Turin has been selected as the host city for Eurovision 2022. Italy’s victory in 2021 with the entry “Zitti E Buoni” entitles the country to host the Contest. The finals will be hosted by Mika, Laura Pausini and Alessandro Cattelan.
