10 JESUS TO A CHILD George Michael 1996- Older “Jesus To A Child” was dedicated to Anselmo Feleppa. He and George Michael were in a relationship. The couple met in Rio de Janeiro in 1991. Eight months into their relationship, Feleppo was diagnosed with AIDS. He passed away in 1993. George wrote the song while dealing with his grief. This was his first meaningful relationship. It marked a new phase in his career. The subject matter and feel of the powerful song was George at his rawest and most vulnerable.
