Legendary producer Quincy Jones released an album entitled 'The Dude' in 1981. The track listing included 2 singles that featured lead vocals by American singer James Ingram: "One Hundred Ways" and "Just Once". In 1982, the former won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance - Male.

Trivia:
Legendary American actress Bette Davis was aged 73 at the time that Kim Carnes' version of "Bette Davis Eyes" scored chart success around the world. During her exemplary film career, she collected 2 Oscars for her acting in the motion pictures 'Dangerous' (1935) and 'Jezebel' (1938). She was nominated on a further 8 occasions for the Best Actress Academy Award. Davis died 8 years after Carnes' hit song.

Trivia:
While the early Motown single "Jamie" did not make a major splash outside of the U.S.A., where it peaked at #6 on the Soul Chart, Eddie Holland would soon prove to be integral to the success of the record label. He was part of the songwriting team (along with his brother Brian and Lamont Dozier) that created a bounty of Motown classics that include: "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Can't Help Myself", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)", "Nowhere To Run", "Stop! In The Name Of Love" and "Reach Out, I'll Be There".
