Drawing from 70s pop stars such as Elton John, Queen, David Bowie and disco, Scissor Sisters formed in New York in 2001. The group first grabbed attention with a camp dance remake of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" in 2003. With Jake Shears up front, the group has served a series of interesting releases including "Take Your Mama", "Filthy / Gorgeous", "Only The Horses" and the global hit "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'". The latter reached #1 in parts of Europe, Britain and Australia during 2006.
