ESC PREVIEW Today: #13- AZERBAIJAN.  A preview of the 43 songs in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, which begins this May in Lisbon, Portugal. The preview begins with the weakest songs and works its way to the best in this year's line-up.The songs are ranked in order of quality as heard in the studio versions.

X MY HEART

Aisel

Azerbaijan has offered some strong songs since its debut at Eurovision in 2008. It won in 2011 with Eli & Nikki's "Running Scared". This year's entry is the upbeat "X MY Heart" performed by Aisel who is known beyond her homeland's borders. 

Recorded in London, the song should easily qualify in Semi Final 1. It will be the first entry performed this year.  Despite its hooks, the song is not special enough to give the country its 2nd win at Eurovision.
