Louis Armstrong's version of "What A Wonderful World" was originally released ion 1967. The single reached #1 in the UK and was a Top 10 hit in many European countries. Its inclusion in the 1988 film 'Good Morning Vietnam' led to the ballad being re-released. The disc finally charted in America and climbed to #1 in Australia. It also made the Top 10 in Canada, New Zealand and in some European nations.
