Caffè Lattè reveals the 30 most significant and influential music acts whose success began in the 21st century. Acts, such as Eminem, Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas and Daft Punk for example, began releasing music prior to 2000 and are therefore excluded.

BEYONCÉ
Beyoncé began her world domination as the pivotal member of Destiny’s Child. By the start of this century, the group was a regular fixture on the charts thanks to major hits that include “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Say My Name”, “Independent Women”, “Survivor” and “Bootylicious”. In 2003, she scored her first global #1 with “Crazy In Love”. She has kept up the momentum with singles such as “Irreplaceable”, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” and “Texas Hold ‘Em”. Throughout the decade Beyoncé has been showered with awards. To date, she has won the most Grammy Awards: 32. Beyoncé has also branched out into film roles such as ‘Austin Powers Goldmember’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Dreamgirls’.
