No competitor has achieved the level of success at Eurovision that Johnny Logan accomplished: he is responsible for almost half of Ireland’s 7 victories, having performed 2 and penned a third. “Hold Me Now” was a popular ballad and is certainly one of the most cherished ESC winners.This was Logan's 2nd win as a performer. He penned the song himself.
